BIM Specialist / Technician - Architecture

We are looking for a designer with an architectural background, with excellent Revit skills to join the BIM Team. The BIM Specialist will be working closely with the BIM team members and project teams to ensure successful BIM integration, progress and project delivery. The BIM Specialist will be responsible for supporting various Revit and BIM projects across the office.
The role will involve hands-on work on selected projects, as well as office-wide support.
BIM specialist’s responsibilities will include:
- Revit model contents creation including complex Revit families
- Revit model cleanups and audits
- Model issues to various extranets
- Promoting the best use of software and adherence to BIM standards
- Setting up central files and coordinates for projects
- Federation of 3D models
- Data input into BIM models including Uniclass and Cobie as well as other parameters
- Providing training
- Office Revit support
- Model analysis and data exports
Essential Skills/Experience required:
- Excellent Revit including family creation and coordinates setup
- Architectural design experience – minimum 4 years working in an architectural practice and using Revit on large-scale projects
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with team members, contractors and consultants
- Attention to detail
